Last Day on the Field

Today is a bittersweet day! We can’t believe that this is our last day on the field. We have had a great week of distributing water filters and teaching Hygiene lessons and spending time with the families!

When we first arrived we got right to work and started assembling the last of our water buckets. Then we had a special church service and then got right into the hygiene lessons and distributing the water buckets. We had another great, fun and active day with the Adults and Kids. We gave out another 45 water buckets to families. This whole week they have been so grateful for our help!

Afterwards we had our last lunch in Mexico and said goodbye to our translator. He was such a special person and it has been great spending time with him this week. He has a bright smile with a brighter personality. He was so grateful for us coming to his community to help with the water buckets and lessons. He is studying to become a Pastor so please keep him in your prayers. God has great things for him and he will be missed greatly!

After our last day on the field, we did some more sight seeing in Mexico. We then had our last dinner as a Team and went to see a beautiful night view from a mountain top. That was breath taking! We finished our evening off with a prayer and devotion.

We thank you Jesus for a great week and helping all of the families with water buckets! Thank you for guiding us and showering us with your love and grace.
